AppraisAir
AppraisAir is the company name for a collection of services provided by Robert Braun, a certified flight instructor, and FAA aviation safety counselor. Through this site Robert provides aircraft appraisal services, as well as some additional services such as aerial photography.
Background of the Site
Background of the SiteRobert had earlier had a website created for him to support his business, but the site where it was hosted had dropped off the earth, without his having a decent copy of it. Robert asked me to try to recover and recreate his site.
Using some cached copies of some of the pages (which Robert had found on the net), I managed to reconstruct the site. At the same time I cleaned up some code and made it a bit more maintainable. However, I do not claim to be the author of this site. I merely maintain it for him now.
It looks like the site may have been done originally with some generator, but I find no clues what was used, and all I have is straight html, with some javascript. I have not converted the site to PHP. I have imported it into svn, and I work on it with eclipse.
Site graphics were built by the original site creator, one Hugh Burgin, I believe Robert's brother-in-law.
